At the end of
the trail, out where the elk bugle in the evening
sunset, the bears roam through the deep gulches, the
cactus grow taller than you, and the views never end…ACME
Llama Ranch.
We are
currently building our custom log home from “scratch”,
but because we have done this twice before, we knew
what we wanted this time! From Iowa, to the Black
Hills of South Dakota, and now “home” to Colorado, we
intend to stay! We share the ranch with two Rhodesian
Ridgebacks (the “ranch ridgies”), three horses (two
American Quarter Horses and one Pinto), five cats, a
rabbit, a tortoise, and of course, the llamas. Our 70
acre ranch, which borders 40 acres of BLM to one side
and several thousand private acres to the other, lends
itself to the quiet seclusion that only life in the
West can bring. We always welcome friendly visitors
who’d like a tour of the house or to meet the llamas.
We just
kindly ask that you leave your
boots at the
door!
